Received a Wink notification but can’t find it on your Winks page? There are a few reasons why a Wink might disappear, even if you haven’t responded to it.
Winks are automatically removed after a certain period, but they may also disappear if the other member’s account is no longer available.
How Long Do Winks Stay on RSVP?
The length of time a Wink remains visible depends on whether it’s been sent, received or responded to.

| Someone responds to your Wink, positively or negatively | Up to 28 days |

| You respond with Not Interested | Removed immediately |
| The other member’s account is suspended | Removed immediately |
Once the relevant period has passed, the Wink will automatically disappear from your Winks list.
Why Would a Wink Disappear Before It Expires?
Sometimes a Wink may disappear earlier than expected. This can happen if:
- The member’s account has been suspended or removed: We may restrict or remove profiles that don’t meet our safety and security requirements.
- The member has deleted their account: If someone leaves RSVP, their profile and associated Winks may no longer be available.
- The member has taken a break: Members can temporarily hide their profiles, which may affect their visibility.
- The member has blocked you: If another member blocks your profile, their Wink may disappear from your Winks page, and you’ll no longer be able to interact with them.
In these situations, the Wink may be automatically removed from your Winks page before its usual expiry date.
Does a Missing Wink Mean the Member Was Fake?
Not necessarily.
A missing Wink doesn’t automatically mean the other member was suspicious or had a fake profile.
Members may delete their accounts, take a break or have their profiles restricted for various reasons.

What Should I Do If a Wink Disappears?
In most cases, there’s nothing you need to do. The Wink may have expired, or the other member’s profile may no longer be available.
If you’re concerned about a particular profile or interaction, you can report it to us for review.
Good to know: If a Wink has simply expired and the other member’s profile is still available, you can send them another free Wink if you’re still interested.
