We’re sorry to see you go! Whether you’ve met someone special, decided to take a break from online dating, or simply no longer wish to use RSVP, you can delete your profile at any time.
Before deleting your account, there are a few important things to know, especially if you have an active Premium subscription.
Deleting your RSVP profile is permanent and cannot be undone.
Before You Delete Your Profile
When you delete your RSVP account:
- Your profile will be permanently removed. Other members will no longer be able to find or view your profile.
- Your conversations and contact history will be lost. Previous messages and communication with other members will be removed from the site.
- Your unused Stamps will be forfeited. Any remaining Stamps in your account will be lost.
- Your Premium benefits will end. Any remaining time on your active Premium subscription will be forfeited.
- Your account cannot be recovered. Once deleted, your profile and previous communication history cannot be restored.
Important: If you have an active auto-renewing Premium subscription, you must cancel the auto-renewal before deleting your account.
Step 1: Cancel Your Premium Subscription’s Auto-Renewal
If you have an active auto-renewing subscription, please make sure you cancel the auto-renewal before deleting your RSVP account.
How you cancel depends on where you originally purchased your subscription.
Subscriptions Purchased Through the RSVP Website
If you purchased your Premium subscription directly through RSVP:
- Log in to the RSVP website.
- Select your Profile icon, then Settings.
- Go to Subscription & Purchase History.
- Select Manage Subscription.
- Select Cancel Auto-renewal.
Once you’ve cancelled auto-renewal, you can proceed with deleting your profile.
Subscriptions Purchased Through Apple
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, you’ll need to cancel your subscription directly through Apple.
- Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your name.
- Select Subscriptions.
- Find and select RSVP.
- Tap Cancel Subscription, if available.

Subscriptions Purchased Through Google Play
If you subscribed through Google Play, you’ll need to cancel your subscription directly through Google.
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Tap your profile icon.
- Select Payments & subscriptions.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Find and select RSVP.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.

Please note: RSVP Customer Support cannot cancel or manage subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google Play. These subscriptions must be managed directly through the relevant provider.
Once you’ve confirmed that your subscription’s auto-renewal has been cancelled, you can proceed with deleting your RSVP profile.
Step 2: Delete Your RSVP Profile
You can permanently delete your account through the RSVP website or mobile app.
RSVP Website
- Log in to your RSVP account.
- Click your Profile icon in the top-right corner.
- Select Settings.
- Under My Account, select Delete Account.
- Click Delete to continue.
- Select a reason for deleting your profile.
- Click Delete again to confirm.
Your RSVP profile will then be permanently deleted.
Mobile App
- Open the RSVP app and log in to your account.
- Go to Settings from the Home page.
- Under My Account, select Delete Account.
- Tap Delete to continue.
- Select a reason for deleting your profile.
- Tap Delete again to confirm.
Your RSVP profile will then be permanently deleted.
Not Ready to Delete Your Profile? Consider Taking a Break
If you’re simply looking for some time away from online dating, you don’t have to permanently delete your RSVP account.
Instead, you can use the Take a Break feature to temporarily hide your profile while keeping your account information and contact history.
When you take a break:
- Your profile will no longer be visible to other members.
- You won’t appear in searches or matches.
- Other members won’t be able to contact you, including those you’ve previously communicated with.
- You won’t be able to contact other members.
- Your profile information and contact history will remain available if you decide to return.
Good to know: Taking a break does not pause or extend the expiry date of your Stamps or Premium subscription. If your subscription is set to renew automatically, it will continue to do so unless you cancel auto-renewal.

Can I Recover My Account After Deleting It?
No. Once you’ve deleted your RSVP profile, it cannot be recovered.
Your previous profile information, photos, conversations, contact history, unused Stamps, and remaining Premium benefits cannot be restored.
If you decide to return to RSVP in the future, you’ll need to create a new account.
