Your profile location helps RSVP suggest members based on your location and distance preferences, so keeping it accurate can improve your search results and matching experience.
How to Update Your Profile Location
You can change your location through the RSVP website or mobile app.
RSVP Website
- Log in to your RSVP account.
- Click your Profile icon in the top-right corner.
- Select My Profile.
- Find the Details section and click the pencil (edit) icon.
- Locate your Location details.
- Enter your new suburb and postcode.
- Click Save to update your information.
Mobile App
- Open the RSVP app and log in to your account.
- Tap Me in the bottom-right corner.
- Select Edit My Profile.
- Find the Location section.
- Enter your new suburb and postcode.
- Tap Save to update your information.
Important: RSVP is exclusively available to residents of Australia and New Zealand. When updating your profile location, you must enter a valid suburb or postcode within either country. Locations outside Australia and New Zealand are not supported.
Why Is My Location Important?
Your location helps RSVP show you members who may be compatible with your preferences.
Keeping your location accurate can help you:

How Long Does It Take for My Location to Update?
Changes to your RSVP profile may go through a review process to ensure they meet our guidelines.
In some cases, updates may take up to 24 hours before becoming visible to other members.
If you’ve recently changed your location, allow some time for the update to appear on your profile.
Can I Change My Location When Travelling?
If you’re travelling or temporarily staying somewhere else, you may wish to update your profile location.
However, we recommend keeping your location accurate so other members have a clear understanding of where you’re based.
If you’re planning to relocate, you can update your location once you’ve moved.
Why Am I Seeing Members Outside My Location Preferences?
You may occasionally see profiles or receive Winks from members outside your preferred distance.
This can happen when your profile matches another member’s search criteria, even if they don’t fall within yours.
