RSVP’s Discovery Engine works in the background to help you find potential connections beyond your regular Matches.
It recommends members you may be interested in based on your profile information, preferences and activity on RSVP.
Discover helps you explore new possibilities, including members you might not otherwise come across through your usual Matches.
How Are Discover Profiles Selected?
Unlike Matches, which are based on two-way profile compatibility and behavioural data analysis, Discover focuses on your activity and interactions to suggest members you may find interesting.
Our Discovery Engine considers activity such as profiles you’ve viewed, members you’ve interacted with and Winks you’ve sent.
The more you use RSVP, the more information Discover has to help improve its recommendations over time.
Where Can I Find Discover Profiles?
You’ll find Discover profiles within your Matches section, clearly identified by a Discover badge.
These profiles are additional recommendations selected by our Discovery Engine and may not necessarily meet all your Looking For preferences.
Why Am I Only Seeing Discover Profiles and No Matches?
If you’re seeing Discover profiles but no regular Matches, it usually means there are currently no members who fully meet your Looking For criteria.
To increase your potential Matches, try reviewing and broadening your preferences, such as your preferred age range, distance or other criteria.
You can also use Search to explore members based on your own filters.
What’s the Difference Between Matches and Discover?
Matches are personalised daily recommendations based on two-way profile compatibility, meaning both members generally meet each other’s Looking For preferences.
Discover uses your activity and interactions to recommend additional members you may be interested in, even if they fall outside your usual matching criteria.
Both features are designed to help you explore potential connections and discover people who may be right for you.
