RSVP Matches are personalised recommendations curated daily to help you discover potential connections based on your profile information, preferences and activity on the platform.
Matches are based on our two-way profile matching system and behavioural data analysis. We look at the relationship between your profile and other members’ profiles, including what you’re both looking for, to suggest compatible connections.
These daily matches are curated specifically for you, helping you discover members who may be a good fit.
How Are Matches Selected?
RSVP uses a two-way matching system, meaning both you and the other member meet each other’s Looking For preferences.
Our matching system considers:
- Your Looking For preferences: Your preferred age range, location, lifestyle and other criteria.
- The other member’s preferences: Whether your profile meets what they’re looking for.
- Your profile information: Details you’ve provided about yourself, including your interests.
- Behavioural data analysis: Your activity and interactions on RSVP, which help us understand your preferences and improve match recommendations over time.
Each suggested match is assigned a match percentage (%), indicating how compatible our matching system considers you to be with that member.
Generally, the higher the percentage, the stronger the suggested compatibility. However, a high match percentage doesn’t guarantee a successful connection.
Why Am I Seeing Members Outside My Preferences?
While RSVP aims to suggest members who meet your preferences, you may occasionally see profiles outside your selected criteria.
This can happen when there are limited members who meet your preferences. Our matching system may broaden certain criteria, such as age or distance, to help you discover additional potential connections.
How Often Are Matches Updated?
Matches are curated and generated daily, exclusively for you.
Our matching system considers your profile, preferences and behavioural activity to provide personalised recommendations.
New matches you haven’t previously seen will be highlighted, making it easier to identify fresh connections.
Please note that blocked members, dormant accounts and members who are taking a break won’t appear in your Matches.
How Can I Get Better Matches?
To improve the relevance and variety of your suggested matches:
- Complete your profile: Add accurate information about yourself, including your interests and relationship preferences.
- Review your Looking For preferences: Make sure your selected criteria reflect what you’re genuinely looking for.
- Broaden your preferences: Consider expanding your preferred age range or distance if you’re receiving limited matches.
- Stay active: Regularly using RSVP can help our matching system better understand your preferences.
- Use Search: Explore additional members by applying filters such as age, location, interests and relationship preferences.
Why Am I Not Seeing Any Matches?
If you’re not seeing any matches, there may currently be limited members who meet your Looking For preferences.
Try broadening your age range, increasing your preferred distance or relaxing criteria that aren’t essential to you.
You can also select Not Specified for preferences where you’re open to different possibilities.
This may help increase the number of potential matches available to you.
