If your RSVP account has been locked or suspended, we understand that you may be concerned about why you can no longer access your profile.
RSVP uses automated security systems and account reviews to help protect members and maintain a safe, genuine dating community.
Sometimes, an account may be temporarily restricted while we carry out additional checks. This doesn’t necessarily mean you’ve done anything wrong.
Here’s what you need to know about account restrictions and what you can do next.
Why Has My Account Been Locked or Suspended?
There are several reasons why RSVP may restrict access to an account, including:
- Unusual login activity: Access from an unfamiliar location or activity that differs from your usual login patterns.
- Security concerns: Activity that our automated systems identify as potentially suspicious.
- Profile authenticity checks: Additional verification may be required to confirm that an account belongs to a genuine member.
- Member reports: Reports involving suspicious behaviour, inappropriate content or potential breaches of our Terms of Service.
- Multiple or previously restricted accounts: Account activity that requires further review.
- Extended inactivity: Accounts that haven’t been accessed for a long period may become dormant or be subject to account management processes.
Please note: An automated restriction doesn’t necessarily mean your account has violated RSVP’s rules. Some restrictions are precautionary and may be resolved following a review.

“This account is no longer active”
Your account may have been:

What Should I Do If My Account Is Locked or Suspended?

Depending on the outcome of our review, we may ask you to provide additional information or complete identity verification before access can be restored.
Please note: Account reinstatement is subject to review and cannot be guaranteed.
Why Am I Being Asked to Verify My Identity?
In some situations, RSVP may request identity verification as part of an account security review.
This helps us confirm that an account belongs to a genuine person and protect members from fraudulent or unauthorised activity.
Depending on the circumstances, we may ask you to provide additional information or complete an identity verification process.
Can My Account Be Reinstated?
Some accounts may be reinstated after a successful security review or identity verification.
However, reinstatement depends on the reason for the restriction and the outcome of our investigation.
Accounts that have been permanently terminated for serious or repeated breaches of RSVP’s Terms of Service may not be eligible for reinstatement.
Completing identity verification does not automatically guarantee that an account will be restored.
