Not receiving emails from RSVP? Whether you’re missing notifications, password reset emails or important account updates, there are a few reasons why this might happen.
In some cases, your email provider may be filtering our messages into your spam or junk folder. In others, your email address may have been marked as bounced, meaning RSVP is unable to successfully deliver emails to your inbox.
Here’s how to identify the issue and what you can do to resolve it.
1. Check Your Spam or Junk Folder
Sometimes, email providers automatically filter RSVP emails into your spam, junk or promotions folder.
If you’re not receiving our emails:
- Check your Spam, Junk or Promotions folders.
- Search your inbox for emails from RSVP.
- Check whether your email provider has blocked or filtered messages from RSVP.
- Make sure your inbox has enough storage space to receive new emails.
If you find an RSVP email in your spam folder, mark it as Not Spam or Not Junk to help your email provider recognise future messages.
2. Check If Your Email Address Is Marked as Bounced
If your email address has been marked as bounced, you’ll see an alert on your RSVP profile.
This means we’ve been unable to successfully deliver emails to your registered email address.
Why Do Emails Bounce?
Your email address may be marked as bounced for several reasons, including:
- Your email provider has rejected or blocked our messages.
- RSVP emails have previously been marked as spam or junk.
- Your inbox is full or temporarily unable to receive messages.
- Your registered email address is incorrect or no longer active.
- You’ve previously unsubscribed from certain RSVP emails.
Please note: Unsubscribing from marketing emails doesn’t necessarily mean your email address has bounced. However, it may explain why you’re no longer receiving certain notifications.
If you’re seeing a bounced email alert on your RSVP profile, please let us know so we can investigate.
3. Add RSVP to Your Safe Sender List
To help ensure you receive our emails, add these addresses to your email contacts or safe sender list:
This can help your email provider recognise messages from RSVP and reduce the likelihood of them being filtered into your spam or junk folder.
The exact steps depend on your email provider, such as Gmail, Outlook or Yahoo Mail.
