Keeping RSVP safe is important to us, and that includes protecting children from harm or exploitation. RSVP is for adults 18+, and we have strict rules about content involving children.
Zero tolerance for child sexual exploitation
We do not allow any content that depicts, promotes, requests or facilitates the sexual abuse or exploitation of children.
This includes:
- Uploading, storing or sharing child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
- Sharing links, images, videos or other content containing child sexual exploitation.
- Requesting, encouraging or soliciting sexually explicit content involving children.
- Sharing prohibited material even when the intention is to condemn it, discuss it or raise awareness.
Content of this nature is strictly prohibited on RSVP. Where we identify a violation, we may immediately suspend or terminate the account and report the matter to the relevant Australian authorities, as appropriate.
Can I include my children in my profile photos?
We understand that being a parent can be an important part of your life and something you may want to share with people you meet.
However, photos containing children aren’t permitted as profile or gallery photos on RSVP. If a photo containing a child is uploaded, it may be removed.
You’re still welcome to talk about being a parent in your profile or conversations, as long as anything you share follows our safety standards and Community Guidelines.
How we moderate content
We use a combination of automated systems and human moderation to help identify content that may breach our policies.
Uploaded photos and content reported to us may be reviewed, and we’ll take appropriate action when something doesn’t meet our safety standards.
How do I report something I’m concerned about?
If you come across a profile or content that concerns you, please use the Report feature or directly to us in email with details that with support your claims.
Reports involving potential child safety issues are treated seriously and reviewed as a priority. Depending on what we find, we may remove content, restrict or close an account, or take other appropriate action.
If you believe a child may be in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services or the appropriate authorities directly.
What if my photo or account was actioned by mistake?
Sometimes our systems or moderators may get it wrong.
If you believe we’ve removed content or taken action on your RSVP account by mistake, provide us more details and we’ll take another look.
