How to Verify Your Mobile Number

Mobile number verification helps protect your RSVP account and confirms that you have access to the mobile number you’ve provided.

You may be asked to verify your mobile number when joining RSVP or when adding or updating your number.

How to Verify Your Mobile Number

RSVP will send a 6-digit verification code via SMS to your registered mobile number.

Follow these steps:

  1. Enter your mobile number during sign-up or when updating your account details.
  2. Wait for the SMS containing your 6-digit verification code.
  3. Enter the code in the verification field on RSVP.
  4. Submit the code to complete verification.

Once the correct code is accepted, your mobile number will be successfully verified and linked to your RSVP account.

Important: If you request multiple verification codes, use the most recent code, as older codes may no longer work.

What If I Haven’t Received My Verification Code?

If your SMS verification code hasn’t arrived, try the following:

  • Check your mobile number: Make sure you’ve entered the correct number without any mistakes.
  • Check your mobile signal: Ensure your phone has network coverage and can receive SMS messages.
  • Wait a few minutes: SMS delivery can occasionally be delayed.
  • Request a new code: If the option is available, request another verification code.
  • Check for blocked messages: Review your phone’s spam or blocked message settings in case the SMS was filtered.

Tip: If you’re travelling or using an overseas mobile network, SMS delivery may depend on your mobile provider’s roaming services.

What If My Verification Code Isn’t Working?

If your code is rejected or you’re seeing an error:

  1. Check that you’ve entered all six digits correctly.
  2. Make sure you’re using the most recently requested code.
  3. Avoid adding spaces or extra characters.
  4. Request a new code if the previous one has expired or is no longer accepted.

Is My Mobile Number Kept Private?

Yes. Your mobile number is not displayed on your RSVP profile or shared with other members.

RSVP uses your mobile number for account verification, security and other account-related purposes in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
