You can update your Username or Display Name through your RSVP account settings.
Depending on when you joined RSVP, your profile will have either a Username or a Display Name.
What’s the Difference Between a Username and a Display Name?
- Username: Generally used by members who joined RSVP before 2023. You can change your Username once every 30 days.
- Display Name: Used by newer members who joined RSVP from 2023 onwards. You can change your Display Name at any time.
Your profile will have only one of these, not both.
How to Change Your Username or Display Name
Website (Desktop and Mobile Browser)
- Log in to your RSVP account.
- Select your Profile icon or Menu, then go to Settings.
- Select My Account.
- Update your Username or Display Name.
- Select Save to confirm your changes.
Mobile App (iOS and Android)
- Open the RSVP app and log in to your account.
- Go to the Me page in the bottom-right corner.
- Tap the Settings gear icon.
- Update your Username or Display Name.
- Tap Save to confirm your changes.
Tips for Choosing a Username or Display Name
- Choose something that reflects your personality.
- Keep it friendly and easy to recognise.
- Avoid including personal information, such as your phone number, email address or full address.
- Don’t use offensive, misleading or inappropriate names.
- If your preferred Username is unavailable, try a slight variation.
