At RSVP, we’re committed to maintaining a safe, respectful and welcoming dating community. To help protect our members and encourage responsible behaviour, we follow a Three-Strike Policy for violations of our Community Guidelines, Profile Approval Policy and Terms of Service.
This policy gives members an opportunity to understand and correct their behaviour before more serious account restrictions are applied.
How Does the Three-Strike Policy Work?
RSVP generally follows a three-step warning and enforcement process when a member repeatedly breaches our guidelines.
First Strike – First Warning
If your profile content or behaviour violates RSVP’s guidelines, you may receive a first warning.
This warning explains the concern and reminds you of our community standards. Depending on the violation, you may be asked to update your profile, remove inappropriate content or stop certain behaviour.
The first warning is an opportunity to correct the issue and continue using RSVP responsibly.
Second Strike – Second and Final Warning
If another violation occurs after your first warning, you may receive a second and final warning.
This means your account has been flagged for repeated violations, and further breaches may result in account suspension or permanent termination.
We encourage members to take this warning seriously and review our Community Guidelines to avoid further restrictions.
Third Strike – Account Suspension or Permanent Termination
If you continue to violate RSVP’s guidelines after receiving two warnings, your account may be suspended or permanently terminated.
Depending on the circumstances, you may lose access to your profile, conversations and other RSVP features.
Account reinstatement is subject to review and cannot be guaranteed.
Can My Account Be Suspended Without Three Warnings?
Yes. While RSVP generally follows a Three-Strike Policy, serious violations may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination without prior warnings.
This may include fraudulent activity, scams, threats, harassment, impersonation, serious safety concerns or other significant breaches of our Terms of Service.
RSVP reserves the right to take appropriate action based on the nature and severity of a violation to help protect our members and the wider community.
What Happens If I Receive a Warning?
If you receive a warning from RSVP, we recommend reviewing the information provided and taking any necessary steps to correct the issue.
This may involve updating your profile description, removing inappropriate content, following our Photo Policy Guidelines or changing how you communicate with other members.
Warnings are intended to help members understand our expectations and prevent further violations.
Can I Request a Review of My Account Suspension?
If your account has been suspended and you’re seeing the message “This account is no longer active”, please let us know so our Customer Support Team can review your account and advise you of the next steps.
Depending on the reason for the restriction, we may request additional information or identity verification as part of our review.
Please note: Account reinstatement is not guaranteed, particularly where serious or repeated violations have occurred.
