At RSVP, we want everyone to enjoy a safe, respectful and welcoming online dating experience. To help maintain a positive environment, all members are expected to follow our Community Guidelines and Profile Approval Policy when creating their profiles, uploading photos and interacting with others.
We encourage members to express their personalities, interests and relationship goals while keeping their content genuine, respectful and appropriate. All profile descriptions, photos and other publicly visible content must meet RSVP’s guidelines before they can be approved.
What Content Is Not Allowed on RSVP?
RSVP does not approve profiles containing personal contact information, including phone numbers, email addresses, residential addresses, social media handles, Facebook details or links to external websites. This helps protect members’ privacy and encourages connections to begin through RSVP’s communication features.
Sexually explicit language, sexual references, suggestive or inappropriate comments, and obscene or offensive language are not permitted. This includes swear words, abusive or aggressive statements, threats, defamatory remarks and content intended to intimidate, insult or harass others.
We also do not allow discriminatory or hateful content, including language that targets people based on their race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation or other personal characteristics. Members are expected to communicate respectfully, even when expressing different opinions or preferences.
Profiles must not contain advertisements, business promotions, third-party marketing, commercial solicitations or links intended to redirect members to external services. Content that is misleading, excessively repetitive, unreadable or difficult to understand may also be rejected.
How Does RSVP Review Profile Content?
RSVP uses a combination of automated systems and manual reviews to help ensure member profiles and photos meet our guidelines.
Some photos require manual approval, which is generally completed within 24 hours. Once approved, your photo will automatically appear on your profile.
If your photo hasn’t appeared after 24 hours, it may not have met our Photo Policy Guidelines or may require further review. We recommend checking that your photo clearly shows you and meets our requirements before uploading another image.
Our team may also review existing profile descriptions, photos and other content from time to time to ensure they continue to comply with RSVP’s guidelines.
What Happens If My Content Is Rejected?
If your profile description or photo doesn’t meet our requirements, it may be rejected or removed.
You can update your profile description or upload a different photo that follows our guidelines. We recommend keeping your content genuine, respectful and focused on helping other members get to know you.
Repeated or serious violations of our guidelines may result in additional account reviews or restrictions.
Help Us Keep RSVP a Positive Community
