1. Discover Your Matches
RSVP helps you discover other members based on your profile information, preferences, and search criteria.
You can explore potential connections through different sections of RSVP, including:
- Matches: Discover members who may be compatible with your preferences.
- Nearby: Explore members based on their location.
- Common Interests: Find people who share similar hobbies and interests.
- Search: Browse profiles using available search filters.
- Viewed Me: See members who have viewed your profile.
- Favourites: Keep track of profiles you’ve saved.
- Winks: View the interest you’ve sent or received.
Good to know: You may occasionally see profiles outside your preferred age range or distance. This can happen when you match another member’s preferences, even if they don’t match yours.
2. Explore Member Profiles
When someone catches your attention, tap or click their profile to learn more about them.
Depending on what they’ve shared, you can see information such as:
- Their profile photos.
- Their age and general location.
- Their interests and hobbies.
- Their lifestyle and personal preferences.
- Their profile description and relationship goals.
Take your time reading profiles to find people who share your interests and values.
3. Send a Free Wink
Found someone you’d like to get to know?
A Wink is a free way to show another RSVP member that you’re interested in them without using a Stamp.
How to Send a Wink
- Log in to your RSVP account.
- Browse your Matches, Nearby, Search, or other discovery sections.
- Open the profile of someone you’re interested in.
- Look for the purple Wink button below their profile photo.
- Tap or click the button to send your Wink.
The other member will be notified of your interest and can choose whether to respond.
Tip: We recommend sending a free Wink first and waiting for a positive response before using a Stamp to start a conversation.
4. Respond to a Wink
When another member sends you a Wink, you can view it in the Winks section of your RSVP account.
You can choose to:
- Respond positively: Let the member know you’re interested in getting to know them.
- Select Not Interested: Politely decline if you don’t feel they’re the right match.
- Leave the Wink unanswered: You don’t have to respond if you’re not ready.
Responding to Winks is free, so you can express your interest without purchasing a Stamp.
5. What Happens After a Positive Wink?
If someone responds positively to your Wink, it means they’re open to connecting with you.
However, a positive Wink doesn’t automatically start a personal conversation.
To send a personal message and begin chatting, either member can use a Stamp.
Once a Stamp has been used to start the conversation, both members can exchange messages during the 30-day contact period without needing another Stamp for that conversation.
Remember: A positive Wink indicates interest, but it doesn’t guarantee that the other person will respond to your messages or continue the conversation.
6. What If My Wink Expires?
Winks don’t stay active indefinitely.
If you’ve sent someone a Wink and it expires without a response, you can send another Wink to express your interest again.
However, remember that members may choose not to respond for personal reasons.
We recommend respecting their decision and continuing to explore other potential matches.
7. Do I Need a Premium Subscription to Send Winks?
No! Sending and responding to Winks is free for all RSVP members.
You don’t need a Premium subscription to express interest in another member.
However, starting a personal conversation requires a Stamp.
You can purchase Stamps separately or choose a Premium subscription that includes Stamps and additional features.
8. Tips for Making Meaningful Connections
Here are a few simple ways to improve your experience:
- Complete your profile. A genuine, detailed profile helps other members get to know you.
- Add clear photos. Recent, authentic photos can help make a positive first impression.
- Read profiles carefully. Look for shared interests, values, and relationship goals.
