How Profile Verification Works
When you create your profile, it will go through several checks before becoming visible to others. This may include:
- Mobile verification
- Email verification
- Location/IP checks
- Profile content review
- If your profile meets our guidelines, it will become visible to other members.
- If your profile does not meet our guidelines, it may be restricted, rejected, or suspended.
Why Profiles Are Reviewed
We review profiles to help ensure they are authentic and genuine, maintain a safe and respectful community, and prevent inappropriate content or misuse.
Common Reasons for Profile Restrictions
Your profile may be restricted or suspended if it includes:
- Location outside Australia or New Zealand
- Inappropriate or offensive content
- Misleading or false information
- Photos that do not meet our Photo Policy
- Contact details (e.g. phone number, email, social media)
- Promotional or commercial content
What to Do If You Can’t Access Your Profile
