To communicate directly with members on RSVP, you need to be a registered RSVP member and have an active profile (i.e. not hidden). There are two ways that you can make contact:
- Send a Wink – It’s the best way to say “hi” and see if they are keen!
You can send a Wink to other members to show them that you are interested. They are FREE to send or to reply to. You can choose a message to go with your Wink that best indicates why you may be interested. They are a great way of breaking the ice.
If you receive a Wink from another member a counter will appear on your Winks tab.
It's good etiquette (and free) to respond to all Winks. Having a high reply rate improves your profile's position in search results.
If you receive or send a positive Wink Back then you know that both parties are interested so it’s time for one of you to start a conversation.
- Start a Conversation - To get to know someone better
To communicate directly with other members on RSVP you will need to use a stamp. A stamp will allow you to communicate with another member for 30 days.
Click/Tap on the Contacts tab or icon to see what conversations you have open or recent messages you may have been sent.
It's free to reply to messages that another member has sent you. If someone has spent a Stamp to contact you, make sure you reply – It’s nice to be polite.
Stamps are available to purchase in packs of 1, 6, 12, 18 and 30, or are received weekly or monthly as part of a premium subscription.
