At RSVP, we understand that it can be disappointing when you use a Stamp to contact someone and don’t receive a response.
That’s why we offer the RSVP Stamp Guarantee, which provides a replacement Stamp in certain circumstances.
Here’s how it works and when you may be eligible.
1. Your Message Remains Unread After 30 Days
You may receive a replacement Stamp if you’ve been invited to start a conversation but your first message remains unread after 30 days.
To qualify, all three conditions must be met:
- Another member sends you a Wink or responds positively to a Wink you’ve sent.
- You use a Stamp to send that member a personal message.
- Your first personal message remains unread for 30 days.
If all three conditions are met, RSVP will issue you a replacement Stamp.
2. The Recipient Is Suspended Within 30 Days
If you use a Stamp to send a personal message and the recipient’s RSVP account is suspended within the 30-day contact period, your Stamp will be eligible for replacement.
When will the replacement be issued?
Your replacement Stamp will be issued 7 days after the recipient’s suspension date, provided the applicable conditions are met.
This waiting period allows time for the recipient’s account status to be reviewed.
3. How Long Is My Replacement Stamp Valid?
Your replacement Stamp will have the same validity period as your original Stamp, calculated from the date the replacement is issued.
It won’t retain the original Stamp’s expiry date.
For example:
- If your original Stamp was valid for 7 days, your replacement Stamp will also be valid for 7 days from the date it’s issued.
- If your original Stamp was valid for 30 days, your replacement Stamp will be valid for 30 days from the date it’s issued.
The replacement Stamp follows the validity period of the original Stamp when it was purchased or granted.
4. Do I Need to Request a Replacement Stamp?
Eligible replacement Stamps are generally issued automatically once the applicable conditions have been met.
You can check your available Stamps through your RSVP account.
If you believe you qualify for a replacement but haven’t received one, please let us know so we can review and investigate your contact history.
5. Which Stamp Will Be Used First?
If you have multiple Stamps in your account, RSVP automatically uses the Stamp with the nearest expiry date first when you start a new conversation.
This helps you make use of your available Stamps before they expire.
Our tip: We recommend sending a free Wink and waiting for a positive response before using a Stamp to start a conversation. This helps you gauge the other member’s interest before using a Stamp to send a personal message.
